Unboxing Vitress x Kolours Love Locks Saladbox (June 2017)

Hello, guys! I'm here with another Saladbox unboxing!

June 2017's Saladbox is called Love Locks, and the items inside feature products for our hair! They partnered with Vitress and Kolours to give subscribers an array of hair care products and for us to try new hair colors.

The packaging

This June box arrived on July 10 for me, and it's later than Saladbox's usual sched. I can see fellow subscribers grumbling over at IG, haha. Anyhoo, the design is simple and as you can see, it's just a plain maroon box with the partner brands written in front.

This is the first time Saladbox did an exclusive hair box, so let's see what I got!

What's Inside

1) Kolours Dual Conditioning Hair Color in Thai Tamarind, 256 PHP
2) Kolours Dual Conditioning Hair Color in Shanghai Mahogany, 256 PHP

First and foremost, I got Kolours Dual Conditioning Hair Color in two shades! 

Kolours claim that they have perfected the hair dye formula for darker and thicker Asian hair. Result is coverage from root to tip plus the hair color will stay vibrant for a very long time. The formula is infused with Vitamins E and B5 to moisturize and keep hair healthy.

I have already used Shanghai Mahogany so watch out for my review!

3) Vitress Cuticle Coat in Classic, 50 ml, 87 PHP
4) Vitress Solenn Hair Cuticle Coat, 30 ml, 80 PHP

Next, I got the classic Vitress Cuticle Coat and Solenn's Hair Cuticle Coat. It's been a while since I've tried Vitress hair products so I'm looking forward to using these again.

Searched for info about what's the difference between these two and it looks like Solenn was the one who personally selected the scent for her own version. It smells baby fresh and I prefer it to the classic fruity scent.

4) Vitress Hair Polish Long Lasting Fragrance, 50 ml, 35 PHP

Next, I got Vitress Hair Polish in Long Lasting Fragrance. This is supposed to keep hair smelling fragrant the whole day by using the Scent-Infinity Complex.

I've been using this as a leave-in conditioner after showering. I apply it on damp hair. After it dries, my hair feels so soft and looks shinier. I can see less frizz too! I don't think the scent really lasts all day but so far, this is my favorite out of the bunch.

5) Vitress Cuticle Coat in Heat Protect, 30ml, 75 PHP
6) Vitress Cuticle Coat in Hair Repair, 30ml, 75 PHP
7) Vitress Cuticle Coat in Instant Relax, 30ml, 75 PHP

The last three items in the box are Hair Cuticle Coats again but this time, they are made for specific hair types.

• Heat Protect is suitable to those who use styling tools regularly. It uses a unique Thermo-Shield Complex to shield hair from the harmful effects of blow-drying, ironing and curling.
• Hair Repair is recommended for chemically-treated hair. It uses a Hydro-Restore System to moisturize and repair damage.
• Instant Relax uses Vita-Relax Technology to help flatten unruly, wavy hair for a straighter look.

Is This Box Worth It?

In my opinion, yes. I wanted to retouch my hair color again so getting two hair dyes is a great thing for me. The hair care products included are mostly hair cuticle coats. However, I don't really mind since I literally have no hair care items aside from the usual shampoo and conditioner. Haha.
