Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder

Ever thought about fizzy water for skincare? Well, I haven't but guess what, Innisfree has a product like that!

The Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder will make carbonated bubbles when mixed with water for a spa-like massage effect. It is part of Innisfree's Jeju Sparkling Mineral line. All products in the range are enriched with sparkling thermal water from Jeju island and claims to moisturize and also brighten the skin.

I got this inside my Althea Pore Care Box and I wanted to try this product ever since. I watched a vid demonstrating how to use this and it looks really fun! Without further ado, let's proceed!

Here you go, in case you wanna see it.
Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder
English Translation is provided too
Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder
The item has two 15g packets inside - Step 1 & Step 2
Directions:
1. Dissolve 1st powder in water (1.5-2 L) fully.
2. Put 2nd powder into water and stir in.
3. Wash your face with both hands or immerse the face in sparkling water while feeling an effect of bubble massage.
4. Rinse off with water after 2-3 minutes.

Ingredients:
Packet 1: Sodium bicarbonate
Packet 2: Citric Acid, Silica, Onsen-Sui(1000ppm), Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Orchid Extract, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Propanediol, Magnesium Stearate

Packet 1 is sodium bicarbonate or what is commonly known as baking soda. Oops. I have my eyebrows raised because facial use of baking soda is actually discouraged. (Read why here). Packet 2 has citric acid first on the list. It is a pH adjuster so hopefully it is enough to adjust the alkalinity of the baking soda. The other ingredients look okay to me so I'm still giving this a go. Please check the ingredients first for any irritants that may affect you!

How I Used It and My Experience

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder
Packet 1 is just baking soda.
Packet 2 is a powder mix of citric acid, Jeju water minerals and various plant extracts.
The item has two 15-gram packets to be dissolved in 1.5-2 liters of water. Even one liter is enough to immerse the face so I only used half per packet. I used a measuring spoon to make sure I still applied the same proportion. I then resealed the packets for later use.

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder
Half the powders is enough guys
After dissolving the half of the first packet, I added the second powder. It bubbled and fizzed immediately. Just look at the video below. So sparkly!

I immersed my face in the mixture and was pleasantly surprised with the sensation. The tiny bubbles crackled and popped on my skin and it felt very tingly. It stings a little bit but I think that's just part of the "massage" effect.  It's tolerable for me. After a while, I got used to it. I have some healing skin from a pimple and it did not hurt (aside from the effects I mentioned). Make sure not to get this in your eyes though because it will burn a lot!

It felt warm but the sensation subsides then comes back again. Maybe it's the heat produced from the reaction? Anyway, the bubbles surprisingly kept fizzing for a long time. When the sparkling slowly faded, I mixed the water around to intensify the bubbling again. I rinsed it off with water after 2-3 minutes.

So... was it effective?

Yes! I love the brightening effect it gave me! My skin looks radiant and matte. It looks really matte, like my face never knew oil, but my skin feels so soft and supple. My pores also look smaller!

I used this at night and hours later, with all my skincare products piled on, my skin looks dewy. Before, I just looked greasy. 😆 My skin still looked good the next day too. No breakouts or irritation after. I think this will also do well when used during daytime. It kinda gives a jamsu-like effect since the pores are really minimized.

Will I repurchase?

Yes, but I don't recommend this for people with sensitive skin. The baking soda niggles me a little bit but it's a fun product to use every now and then. I personally love how it made my skin look after. It's very economical too - you can stretch the usage of the product for up to three times so you can really get your money's worth. I later found out you can also use it for the hair. I will have to try that some time. ðŸ˜Š

Hope this helped! Have you tried this too? How did it go? Got any questions or have any products you want me to try? Shoot me a line in the comment section!

UPDATE!!!

I recently got myself some pH testing strips so, of course, I tested this! I dissolved a packet in 1.5 liters of water and dipped a ph strip in the solution. I'm really curious. I mean... it's partly made of BAKING SODA!!!

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder pH test result 4.6
Looks like the pH is around 5
The pH, as you can see above, looks like it's around 5. That's a lot lower than I expected! Honestly, I thought it would be above 8.

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder PH test 4.6
The pH is 4.6 according to my digital pH tester.
The results above remove my fear of this product being very stripping. It's within healthy pH range (between 4.2 - 5.6 pH).

I used it again on my face and my first impressions still hold up. It removed excess oils and made my face look matte but glowy.

I soaked my hair too in the solution. After rinsing it out, my hair feels kinda dry (like how it would feel if you use a shampoo). Didn't use conditioner afterwards but after my hair dried, it became so bouncy! No sign of grease and my hair got so much volume! Downside is I got tangles and frizz but that's easily fixed with a little bit of styling. I recommend it for people with straight but limp, flat hair.

And, that's it for this update! Thanks for reading!

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Review Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop

Hi, everyone!

I mentioned on my previous review that lip tints never (and I mean literally NEVER) work on me.  This time, I'm gonna review the Lip and Cheek Stains from Rraw PH! Will these do their job? Read on to find out!

About The Product

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop
What: Rraw PH Lip & Cheek Stain
Price and Where: Php 99 at Rraw PH
Product Description: A wholesome blend to give your lips the extra boost of natural beauty. Our Lip and Cheek Stains have a light texture, absolutely longlasting and let's not forget, 100% cruelty free. An excellent alternative to your heavy liquid matte lipsticks or thick blush powder. There's nothing better than an all natural, effortless look!

How to Use:
Lips: Apply desired amount onto lips, allow to dry for 30-60 seconds and you're good to go!
Cheeks: Apply desired amount onto cheeks, allow to dry for 20-40 seconds and you're good to go!

Key Earthly Ingredients: Beetroot, H2O

I like the brand because they're organic and made locally. Everything is made from fresh, wild ingredients and are all crafted by hand! Beetroot is a main ingredient and if you have cooked/sliced/juiced beetroot before, you'll know they stain like crazy! I'm curious how Rraw made it work for them.

Packaging

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop

Rraw PH recently changed the designs of most of their products. I bought this early January so my tints still have the old look. The old packaging is a clear 10-ml tube with a doe foot applicator. The cap has a sticker label with the product name and shade.

The new lip stain packaging look like the screencap below, The tints are now in a shorter 10-ml bottle with a brush applicator.
RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop
image screencapped from Rraw PH website
Aug 2017 Update: Looks like they reverted back to the lipfoot applicator!

Don't have a problem with the packaging but I just wish they put a more comprehensive ingredient list, either on the product or on their website. There's no mention what else this is made of aside from beetroot and water. Anyway, moving on...

Swatches

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop
Swatch on tissue paper
Rraw PH currently has 5 shades available. I got the original three: Scallop, Vitrinella and Crasatella.

Scallop is described as a wine burgundy shade. It smells like strawberries.  On the paper swatch, it really looks wine-colored. On me, however, it looks more brown.

Vitrinella is described as a deep red shade. It smells like cherries. From the swatches, you can see it has orange undertones

Crassatella is described as a bright red shade. It smells like bubblegum. This stayed true to description. This shade is red.

Note: shades may look different depending on your skin tone and undertones.

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop Swatch Swatches
after blotting the excess with a tissue; indoor lighting vs outside in daylight
(also it's vitrinella not vitrenella, excuse the typo)
First of all, I think these stains are very promising. The color quickly clung to my skin after only just one swipe. The stains are sheer but the pigment is definitely there.

The texture varies among the shades. Crasatella has the thinnest, most flowy consistency among the three. Vitrinella is in the middle, while Scallop has the thickest, almost gel-ish consistency.

Before I show you swatches on my lips, lemme just tell you again that lip tints just NEVER work on me. No matter how much I exfoliate, my upper lip and the edges of my bottom lip won't absorb color. The tints just slide off.

Now, let's proceed...
RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop Swatches Swatch
outside lighting / one swipe
Crasatella

The color is lovely. In real life, it's a just-bitten red that looks very natural on the lips. Plus points too because instead of sliding off, the tint actually tried to adhere to my upper lip. Too bad my lips rejected it.
See the little red specks? that's Crasatella trying to stick to my upper lips. It really tried haha
Vitrinella

This almost looks like Crasatella but if you build it up, you'll notice it has more orange in it. This shade was more successful in staining my lips. The lip tint still won't stick to my lips properly but it definitely left pigment behind.

Scallop

Oh, boy! Scallop successfully stained every surface of my lips! (!!!!!) I expected it to flub and settle only on the center of my lips since it's the darkest color, but it didn't. Needless to say, this is my favorite out of the three.

One swipe looks very natural but you can certainly build it up if you want to pack on the color. The tints won't dry matte. After settling down (about 3-5 mins), a super thin layer of oil will remain on top. I guess it's for moisturization. It's very lightweight, not uncomfortable or heavy at all. I actually just noticed it when I was rubbing my lips together. You can blot it off using a tissue.

In terms of staying power, it lasted through drinks but not through meals. I also noticed this is not transfer-proof. If you don't blot it off, it will transfer slightly but the stain will remain. My maximum wearing time is 3 hours.

As A Cheek Stain

RRAWPH Lip & Cheek Stain Crassatella Vitrinella Scallop swatch
scallop | vitrinella | crasatella
Scallop is the most pigmented as a lip stain, but when I used it as a cheek stain, it was the sheerest among the three. It still added a pop of color to my cheeks. Vitrinella & Crasatella look great as a blush. Vitrinella will brighten up your face a lot while Crasatella will make you look blooming. All three look very natural. You can also build up the color.

Will I Repurchase?

Yes, especially Scallop! If your lips are just like mine, these are worth trying out. The shades are sheer and doesn't last that long but it's perfect for short errands and for general everyday use. The price is very affordable too, only Php 99 each! You can buy this through Rraw's physical outlets or through their online shop. Check out their links below!

Hope this helped! Any tints that wowed you? Comment below and I'll check it out!

SkinGenie Lip and Cheek Stain Alive Tramp Flirt

Hi, everyone. Today, I'm gonna share with you my experience using these popular Lip and Cheek Stains from Skin Genie! I have two of the newest shades added to their collection, Tramp and Flirt.

Lip and cheek stains are the easiest way to add color and life to your face while still looking very fresh and natural. I've always wanted to rock the "I woke up like this" look, but for some reason, lip stains never (as in, NEVER!!!) work on me. The colors would just slide off my lips!

These lip & cheek stains are highly-rated and are the best-selling products from Skin Genie so I'm really hoping this works. Read on to see if it solved my dilemma!
Purederm Vitalizing Green Tea Pack Review

Hello everyone! Today, I'm gonna share with you this wash-off mask from Purederm!

I like trying products from Purederm because aside from being affordable, most of their products come in sachets - single-use, perfect for traveling, and great for those who don't want to commit and buy large tub of masks! Ehem, aka me.

Anyway, this face mask is a wash-off type and contains Collagen, Vitamin E, Green Tea Extracts and Olive Oil. According to Purederm, this is suitable for all skin types in all four seasons.

Anyway, let's proceed!

Purederm Vitalizing Green Tea Pack Review
What: Purederm Vitalizing Green Tea Pack Review
Price & Where I Got It: Php 39.75 at Watson's
(click pic & zoom in to see the full size!)
Product Description:
A wash-off type massage mask which contains Olive Oil for skin brightening & softening and Green Tea Extracts for vitalizing and increasing skin elasticity.

How to Use:
(1) Thoroughly cleanse and dry face.
(2) Open the pouch and apply mask to face and massage evenly (except for eye and mouth area).
(3) After 5-10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Ingredients:
Water(Aqua), Glycerin, PEG-8, Trehalose, Polysorbate 60, Carbomer, Phenyl Trimethicone, Sodium Carbomer, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Natto Gum, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Acid Yellow 23 (CI 19140), Blue 1 (CI 42090), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance (Perfume)

Most of the ingredients are humectants that will add moisture to the skin. Green tea is in the middle of the list, after 12 ingredients. That's quite far down. 👀 Anyway, I ran the ingredients through CosDNA and it looks fairly ok to me. There are a few minor red flags: Castor oil is a potential irritant while Olive oil is comedogenic and can potentially clog pores. This product also has methylparaben and fragrance in it. Make sure to check the ingredients first if you have allergies or sensitive skin!  As for me, I don't have sensitive skin, so I'm still giving this a try.

Swatch & My Impressions

The mask is a light green gel with thick consistency. It kinda looks clumpy but it has no gritty feeling, it's very soft on skin, super manageable and easily spread. The green tea smell is kinda weak. This smells more herbal/botanical than green tea. Doesn't matter because it still smells pleasant - nothing annoying or overpowering. Once you put this on your face, you'd barely notice it anymore.

Most gel masks turn very watery when spread. This pack remained the same consistency and didn't dry out until wash-off time. The sachet is good for 2-4 uses, depending on how generous you are with application. I've only squeezed about 1/3 and it is enough for my whole face and neck.
Purederm Vitalizing Green Tea Pack Review
First Pic - 1/3 of the sachet on the back of my hand
Second Pic - after spreading evenly
I left this on for about 15 minutes and then rinsed it off. Taking it off is easy. You'd definitely know if something is left because you would feel some slip on your fingers.

Results

Green tea is known for fighting acne, but if you're here for that, then you'll gonna be disappointed. I have a few closed comedones and little pimples on my cheek but the mask did nothing for those. I kinda expected it since the green tea extract is pretty far down the ingredients list. It's also written in the product description that the green tea is for vitalizing and increasing skin elasticity.

Now, I can't tell if it did make my skin more elastic but I can definitely say it brightened up my skin a lot! It's very hydrating and moisturizing too! My skin felt so smooth and soft after.

Repurchase?

Yes! This may not be a mind blowing product but I'll definitely buy it again for its moisturizing powers. This is great for people with dry/combi skin. This product is more affordable compared to regular sheet masks and the sachet is good for 2-4 uses! It's definitely worth trying!

Already tried this mask? How did you like it? Comment down below!

Double The Lip Lusty Rose

Hi, everyone!

The Benefit They’re Real Double the Lip is a semi-matte two-shade lip liner & lipstick combo from Benefit Cosmetics. One of its defining features is the teardrop shape for easy application. It promises to give you fuller looking lips in just one easy stroke! The duo is available in 8 shades. The one I have with me is called Lusty Rose.

I think these are just newly launched here in the Philippines? They remind me of the two-tone lipbars that are popular in Korea. Anyway, I got a sample version inside my February Saladbox (read my unboxing here). You can get Double The Lip through Benefit counters nationwide or through online through shops like Sephora PH. The Mini version (0.75g) costs Php 600 while the full size (1.5g) retails for Php 1,200.

How It Looks Like

My sample came in this little box. It is almost identical to the Benefit They're Real Mascara.

Double The Lip Lusty Rose
Double The Lip Packaging and lipstick.
The Lipstick has no writings on the back, just the front label
A sticker bearing the shade name is on the bottom of the lipstick

(Click the pic to see in full size!)
I thought the lipstick and lipliner has the same formula and that they only differ in shades. It turns out they actually have different formulations.

Double The Lip Lusty Rose
One side of the box has the shade name on it.
Lusty Rose is described as a "rosy neutral" on Benefit's website

How to Apply

"Position the pointed tip along your upper lip line and glide on. Pivot to fill in your lower lip. Gently press your lips together to softly blend."

Swatches of Lusty Rose

Double The Lip Lusty Rose
Swatch of Lusty Rose on the back of my hand
(during daytime, near a  window)
I initially swatched the lipstick on my hand. It glided on very smoothly. The color is there but it looks sheerer than what I expected. Here is it on my lips after one swipe:

Benefit Double The Lip in Lusty Rose Review Swatch Brown Morena Filipina
Bare lips and after one swipe of Lusty Rose
(during daytime, near a window)
As you can see, my lips are naturally two-toned! Benefit could never! Just kidding, lol.

I am quite impressed by the lipliner shade. It covered the dark parts of my lips in just one swipe. The inner lipstick shade also looks very natural on me. Benefit describes this as semi-matte, but no... in person, it has a sheen in it.

Did it make my lips look fuller? Yes. Compared to my bare lips, I think my lips look bigger and fuller. However, I thought it didn't make that much of a difference... that is, until I went inside. Just look at these outdoor and indoor shots:

Benefit Double The Lip in Lusty Rose Review Brown Morena Filipina
Just one swipe! I blended the edges a lil bit with a lipbrush
The indoor shot is taken near a study lamp. It reflected a lot of light making my lips look nice and plump. You can see the sheen I'm talking about on the pic.

Performance

The teardrop shape made the application easier (especially at the edges). I just wish the lipstick part was a little bit longer because it couldn't reach all the way to the center of my bottom lips.

The lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing. It went smoothly on my lips without tugging. It is extremely lightweight and just a liiiitttle bit, just an absolutely tiny bit tacky. It isn't bothersome and is remarkably comfortable to wear. It doesn't have a weird taste and has a nice, unannoying vanilla scent.

Is it long lasting? No. This lasted only 3-4 hours on me. They're not transfer-proof and smudge-proof so the time will shorten even more if you’re drinking or eating.

Hit or Miss?

Definite hit! Lusty Rose is a nice, natural, lovely color on me and it does a wonderful job of adding volume and dimension to my lips. I think this shade will go well with people who have fair to medium skin tone.

The price is a bit steep for me, but pssssttttt if you wanna try other shades, Benefit has a set called They're Real Big Sexy Lip Kit that costs only Php 1,700! It has four shades in it, including Lusty Rose!

Thank you for reading! Will you buy this lipstick? Comment down below!

Packaging & Delivery

Saladbox Benefit Better Together Unboxing February 2017
box full of hearts for the month of love!
Another mega cute, very pink and fitting box design. I think this is the lightest out of all the Saladboxes I've ever received, which...
...is probably why the box came looking all squished.
It looks great from above but it's almost squished flat if you look from below. Thankfully, the items inside were not damaged in any way.

Better Together Greeting Card from the Saladbox Team

WHAT'S INSIDE

Saladbox made February's box even more special by giving subscribers the chance to select the contents they want! Sweet! Through Sample Select, subscribers were asked to choose among Box A, Box B or Surprise (any of the two).

Both boxes will contain the same three items: (1) Benefit They're Real Double The Lip, (2) Benefit The POREfessional Matte Rescue, and (3) Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. So what's the difference between the two? Box A will have the POREfessional Primer and Benetint while Box B will include the POREfessional Pore Minimizing Makeup and the Benefit They're Real! Mascara.

Aside from the new Double The Lip, I already have most of the items inside. 🙈 The only products I haven't tried yet are the Benetint & the Pore Minimizing Makeup. Lip tints never work on me... so Box B it is!

Did you choose Box B too?
Let's go check each one!

1) Benefit They're Real Double The Lip mini, 0.75 g (Php 600 at Sephora PH)

Benefit Double The Lip Mini Lusty Rose
Benefit They're Real Double The Lip in Lusty Rose
Product Description: "Get fuller-looking lips in one easy stroke with they’re real! double the lip. This lip liner & lipstick in one features a Custom Teardrop Tip that grabs and defines your lip line and fills in lips with complementing color for the appearance of volume and dimension. This satin finish lipstick comes in neutral to bright shades for visibly fuller, sexier lips."

I was excited to get my hands on this! I'm really curious to see Benefit's take on the popular two-tone lip trend. I got the shade Lusty Rose. The edges of my lips are dark so I don't know if I want to accentuate that, but we'll see. Review pending! :)))) (Read full review here.)

2) Benefit POREfessional Pore Minimizing Makeup (Php 1,800 at Sephora PH, 15ml full size)

Benefit Pore Minimizing Makeup shade light medium
I got a deluxe sample of the new Pore Minimizing Makeup.
This is 5.0 ml, worth approx Php 600.
Product Description: "Target pore problem areas with the POREfessional: pore minimizing makeup by Benefit Cosmetics. This longwearing matte makeup covers imperfections without clogging pores. The weightless formula, made with more-minimising mushroom extract, reduces the look of pores and controls excess surface oil for up to eight hours. Thanks to a custom, built-in pore-blurring sponge, it’s easy to use any time you need a pore-be-gone touchup."

How to use: "Before opening, shake bottle well. Pull out custom pore-blurring sponge from base. Press button to release 1-2 drops of makeup onto sponge. Pat and blend on pore-problem areas or all over face to instantly minimise the look of pores. Repeat to build coverage."

POREfessional pore minimising makeup foundation
Here's how it looks like when I disassemble it.
Yayyy, a foundation! I thought this was a primer since "face makeup" is too vague for a description. However, a tip on Benefit's website said the POREfessional Face Primer should be worn before this.

I got very large pores on my nose so anything that can fill them in without making me break out will be such a godsend. I've been testing this and so far, it's doing great. Watch out for my full review! Spoiler: the consistency is runny but the coverage is good. It is buildable and dries into a natural looking finish! I can't wait to show you more!

Now, for the rest of the items inside the box... I already have these but I won't say no to more Benefit!

3) Benefit The POREfessional Matte Rescue (Php 1,600 at Sephora PH, 50ml full size)

Benefit The POREfessional Matte Rescue
the sample is attached to the back of this leaflet
It is 0.5 ml, worth approx Php 20
Product Description: "Matte Rescue instantly minimizes pore appearance. The lightweight, water-based gel overpowers shine and absorbs excess surface oil, leaving a natural-looking matte finish. Skin feels smooth and refreshed. Contains diamond powder known for its soft-focus pore-blurring effect."

According to Benefit, this is to be worn on a fresh, clean face, before you put primer on top. I actually find this good enough to be used as a primer itself. It absorbs oil, keeping my face matte & fresh longer than the usual. This doesn't have any pronounced effect on pores though. So yeah, you may want to put another primer on top to smoothen skin.

4) Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil (Php 1,400 at Sephora PH, 0.34g full size)

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil sample
0.03 g sample of the famed Goof Proof Brow Pencil, worth approx Php 140
Product Description: "Goof Proof your brows with this easy-to-use pencil featuring a custom teardrop tip that instantly shapes, defines and fills brows—no sharpener required! Designed to fit the angles of your eyebrows, the soft, glide-on colour tip creates naturally full and beautiful brows, while the spoolie end effortlessly blends for a perfectly polished look. Just use the pointed tip to outline arches and define your tail, then fill them in with the wide base."

This is such a tiny sample but Benefit made sure we experience Goof Proof's defining feature which is the tear-shaped pencil tip. For newbies at makeup, the shape is seriously great for defining and filling in brows. The pencil is creamy and easy to blend. The color is not harsh and comes out looking very natural. I loved this the first time I tried it. Back then, I even said this was my eyebrow pencil HG. So why the past tense? ðŸ˜…

Let me demo why.

(1) Swatch (2) Smudge test (3) Water test
Zoom in to see everything better!
I drew an eyebrow on the back of my hand. After using a spoolie to blend, some flakes came off. Bad start, oops.

Smudge Test: Fail. I just lightly ran a finger through my swatch. The color rubbed off in flakes.

Water Test: Fail. I placed my swatch under running water for a minute. Didn't do any scrubbing but almost all the color was gone. Again, there were lots of flaking going on. For a product claiming to be a 12-hour waterproof formula, the results are abysmal.

Soooo, this is just an okay product for me. I'm gonna pass. The application was a breeze but the performance is quite lacking. With the Php 1,400 pricetag, I'm expecting a whole lot more. If price is not a concern, I guess you can try it for yourself. I mean, YMMV and all that. However, there are a lot of much better eyebrow pencils you can get for cheap.

5) Benefit They're Real! Mascara mini (Php 700 at Sephora, 4.0g)

Benefit They're Real! Mascara mini review
I got this 3.0 g sample. Approx worth is Php 525.
Product Description: "they're real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts and separates. Our jet black, long-wearing formula won't smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!"

I love the mascara wand! It's huge and covers my eyelashes in just one swoop! The wand is almost like an eyelash comb, it smooths out any clumps and tangles. Definitely, no spider-like mascara!

I'm not so sure about the mascara itself though. It definitely lengthens, but it didn't add much volume. I already have a pending review about this, so wait up! ðŸ˜…

Was This Box Worth It?

Yes! I'm very satisfied because I got my hands on Benefit's newest products - the Double The Lip and the Pore Minimizing Makeup. Both are great! I used Sephora prices to calculate the total amount and guess what? This box is worth Php 1,885, more than 3 times than what I paid for! So sulit!

This is my 7th Saladbox out of my 12-month subscription. Hope the box for March and all the upcoming boxes will be just as awesome! Anyway, I'll end my review here. Hope this helped!
