For the month of August, the folks at Saladbox came out with a box called "Pretty Fixes" - a box showcasing a few of the innovations of the beauty industry. All the products in this box is meant to help us solve some of our beauty concerns.

You guys, foot masks are a thing? I was just browsing nail polish colors at Watson's when I chanced upon this item. "Perfectly peel away calluses and dead skin cells in just 2 weeks"? That sounds too good to be true. I do treat myself with foot spas every now and then, but I don't really give my feet enough attention aside from basic cleaning. I got very thick calluses in my feet so I was instantly intrigued and decided I must try it myself!

Subscription boxes have always intrigued me ever since I've learned of them - to get surprise items worth more than I paid for delivered to my door every month - hey, sign me up! My first ever subscription box was the BYS Matte Maven from Glamourbox. It was a happy experience for me and it left me itching to try out other local subscription boxes. From the competition, Saladbox stood out to me with its very affordable price tag compared to other beauty boxes.

When Saladbox  announced their comeback early this year, I immediately snagged their 3-month starter plan. I got the March Benefit x Saladbox, April VMV Hypoallergenics x Saladbox and the May-June Va-va-voom Box. For only 1500 php (+ shipping fee), I'd say I totally got my money's worth!

Hi, I am Tef and this is my blog.

I've been wanting to open a blog since forever but there's always something that stops me - I don't have enough time, I don't have the resources, I don't know anything, what if I offend somebody, the list goes on... and the worst- what if nobody even visits my blog?

I am sure all bloggers, either established ones or still newbies like me, had all those questions too when first starting their own blogs. But then I realize - if I don't start now, when will I ever? And so the birth of "tep tries new stuff".
