About The Product

Korean, English and Japanese instructions are included.
The star of this mask is the chondroitin sulfuric acid found in Snail Secretion Extract. It's purpose is to help regenerate skin cells and make troubled skin elastic and smooth. This mask also contains collagen and Vitamin E for skin nutrition.

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Beta-Glucan, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polysorbate 80, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Fragrance

Dermal masks are supposed to have a high concentration of one main ingredient plus collagen so good to see both ingredients within the top 5 of the list. Anyway, here's the Cosdna analysis of the ingredients. I don't think I'm sensitive to any of the ingredients but as always, don't use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.

My Experience

Dermal Snail Collagen Essence Mask Review
after opening the pack
The pack contains 23g of essence. It's just the right amount; the mask is soaked enough and only a few drops were left in the pack. The material used is the same like the other Dermal masks I tried. It's thick and won't tear apart easily. It smells floral. It's a subtle scent, something you won't notice once it's on your face.

You know how snail products do those sticky mucus tendril thingy? I expected that but the snail essence inside leans more toward watery. It's still slimy but it's not as thick as snail goo.

The mask is cooling, even without refrigeration. The essence made my face feel a little bit tingly but it never escalated to discomfort. I left it on my face for 25 minutes.

Clinging powers is just okay. It started drying out around the 10-minute mark. See the crease just below the eye flap? It left an imprint on my face so be careful and smooth out all the lines.

I still have some pimples healing at the time so I looked forward to the mask's regenerative effects. Results? Frankly, I don't think this helped at all. Pimple scars look unchanged. Existing pimples still hurt when touched and they weren't soothed at all. My skin did feel soft and hydrated but it was short-lived and was gone the next morning.

Will I Repurchase?

No, I won't repurchase this. I don't think it did what it's supposed to do plus its moisturization powers is just so-so. Overall, it fell short of expectations. I will still try other Dermal masks, there's a lot!

And that's it! What's your favorite Dermal mask?
