Today, I'm gonna review Sofia's Glutathione Soap with Kojic and Collagen from SVR Infinity. I got the 65g soap bar as part of my Vamp It Up Saladbox. I haven't heard of SVR before, and looking through their facebook, I can see lots of positive feedback. Time to try it by myself! If you're curious too, read on to learn if it did well!

About Sofia's Glutathione Soap

Product Description:
"Looking young and beautiful has never been this easy. This soap is designed to make your beauty regimen effortless and complete by combining Glutathione to promote fair skin tone, Kojic Acid to decrease skin pigmentation, and Collagen to help increase skin elasticity."

Main Ingredients:
Coconut Oil, Vegetable Oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Active Whitening, Glutathione, Kojic Acid, Glycerin and Collagen.

Directions of Use:
Apply onto wet skin and then rinse off. Use at least two times a day for faster whitening result. Store in a cool and dry place.

Packaging & First Impressions

I got the Budget Size (65g). The soap bar is wrapped in plastic.

The Batch Number, Manufacturing and Expiry Dates are taped on the side - very handy information!

I removed the plastic to reveal the soap wrapped in another plastic lol + a little information leaflet.
I like the blue and white ribbons. 

Here's the leaflet in case you are curious. I leave beauty soaps on my skin for at
least 2-5 minutes to get its full benefits but this soaps claims it's not needed!

My Experience

Sofia's Glutathione soap is a creamy bar that smells very pleasant. It has a milky scent that is not overpoweringly sweet and cloying. It is mild and quite relaxing. Promise, hindi kayo mag-aamoy gatas after using this!

The soap lathers very easily and the suds feel so creamy and divine. The soap claims you can rinse it off immediately. However, to maximize its benefits, I make sure to leave it on my skin for at least 2-3 minutes. Got a shock the first time I exfoliated (after leaving the soap on my skin) because it loosened a lot of dead skin. I exfoliate regularly and only did minimal scrubbing but I still managed to remove a lot dead skin flakes! Quite impressive, in my opinion.

Seriously, try it out guys! After leaving this on your skin for a few minutes, rub your skin in a circular motion using your fingers. No need for a loofah. Magic will happen! Promise!

Despite the caution on the leaflet, my skin did not feel dry after. I didn't notice any peeling/micropeeling whatsoever (probably because I already sloughed off my dead skin during the bath haha). I also didn't experience any itchiness. Quite good, right?  (Note, that our experiences may vary.)

A downside I observed is that this glutathione soap melts really fast. The whole 65g bar lasted me for only 8 days and I only used it 1-2 times a day! I wouldn't mind this so much if the soap delivered its claims. The question is: did it work? Here are pictures taken during the first day and the 8th day (last day). I kept the same settings for both pictures.

If the difference is not obvious enough (lol), here is a side by side comparison:

OMG

While using the soap, I didn't notice the change right away. During the 8th day, I was even convinced the soap didn't work for me. Pfffttt hahaha. This is why it's important to take pictures as proof.

My skin lightened a lot in eight days. Aside from that, it transformed my dull skin and gave it life. It looks so much brighter than before. Honestly, I am impressed. Imagine the results if I used this for a longer time!

I saw some before-and-after testimonies on SVR's facebook page but I was a skeptic back then. In most before-and-after pics kasi, the changes are usually due to lighting, filters, angles, shadows, etc. I am sure you know what I'm talking about. After using this soap myself, I am happy to report that this product really works!

Final Say

Will I repurchase? It's a big YES from me! I have already told my fam and friends about this lucky find. I sincerely recommend it to people looking for an easy, safe and effective way to lighten their skin.
