My Haul From Skin Genie - Holiday Box Unboxing!

gift for myself
Today I'm gonna quickly share with you my haul from Skin Genie during the holidays.

If you don't know them yet, Skin Genie is a local brand that offers a range of whitening and anti-aging products. They only use skin-loving ingredients so their products are suitable for even the most delicate and sensitive skin types.

I loved their Black Mallows Fluffy Scrub so much (read my review here) that I decided to check out their other offerings. As luck would have it, at the time, they had just announced that they still have a few stocks left of their Holiday box. It contains all their latest products for only Php 1000, with savings as much as Php 760! I love a good deal so here we are (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Delivery & Packaging

the announcement that caught my attention was made last Jan 3
Their delivery was certainly quick and speedy. I got my box on January 6, not even 3 days after completing my payment! I know this is something trivial, but if you live in a provincial area like me, orders from online shops usually take one-two weeks to arrive.

My orders came in this festive eco-bag. I got the Holiday Box and a jar of the Fluffy Scrub.
What's Inside the Holiday box!
The box itself is a very sturdy cardboard box I can reuse for storage. All the items inside were in good condition. The fragile items were wrapped with bubble. No spills, dents or any other accidents.  (^^)b

Things Inside

Dark Therapy Set
First of all, I got this Dark Therapy trio. The set is for those who wants speedy whitening. It consists of the Dark Therapy Soap (135g, Php 200), the Dark Therapy Toner, and the Dark Therapy Serum (30ml, Php 350).  The toner doesn't have any info or price anywhere so maybe it's an experimental product?

Got two more soaps
Aside from Dark Therapy, two other soaps are included. In the pic above, we have the Black Buster Brightening Soap (125g, Php 150) and the Acne Warrior Soap (135g, Php 150).

Update: I have reviewed the Acne Warrior Soap and the Black Buster Brightening Soap!

Next we have this Golden Unicorn Peel-Off Mask
This 30-gram tube of Golden Unicorn Peel-Off Mask retails for Php 350. This mask is one of the biggest reasons why I bought this box. I love me some masks!

Lip & Cheek Stain in the shades Flirt and Tramp
Skin Genie's Holiday box wouldn't be complete without including their best-selling Lip and Cheek Stains (10ml, Php80). Been wishing to try their stains so I'm stoked to receive not one but two shades! I got Flirt which is a baby pink shade and Tramp which is a dark red shade. Both are the newest shades added to their collection.

Update: Read my full review of the Tramp and Flirt here.

A limited-edition Christmas cologne from Skin Genie
Last item in the box is this Christmas Cologne. I adore this! The glass bottle looks classy and doesn't feel cheap. It's smells very fresh and woodsy. Perfect for everyday use, not only for the holidays! The scent is long-lasting too. It remained for more than 4 hours on me, very impressive for a cologne. Some so-called "eau de parfums" I tried can't even last for a couple of hours, tsk. I just wish they went for a more subdued design for the sticker label, haha. I would love to repurchase this but I can't find it anywhere on Skin Genie. :(

Worth It?

Yes, I'm really happy with what I got. Checked all the prices and the total value of the Holiday box (excluding the toner and cologne) is Php 1,360! Such a steal!

Except for the cologne, I haven't opened the rest yet. I don't want them to expire before I even use them. Will post individual reviews as soon as I tried each one!

Which shall I try first? Comment down below!
