Hello, everyone. Character sheet masks always pull me in. What else is new? Haha. When I saw this at Watson's, I just have to try it! Anyway, here's my review!

Pororo Friends Smart Pore Guide Mask Pack features Eddy, a character from the Korean show Pororo the Little Penguin. The mask promises to clean and tighten pores like Eddy!

The sheet mask is made with natural cottonseed while the essence contains Jeju Island's Seaweed complex to control oil on the skin and enantia chlorantha to remove skin dullness.
Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Carbomer, Trehalose, Potassium Hydroxide, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender)  Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Boswellia Carterii Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Oleanolic Acid, Ecklonia Cava Extract, Hizikia Fusiforme Extract, Codium Tomentosum Extract, Gelidium Cartilagineum Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract.

The ingredients look pretty low-risk based on Cosdna analysis. The sheet mask is free from parabens, sulfates, and alcohol. However, it does contain a lot of oils so proceed carefully if you have sensitive skin. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

How to Use
(1) After cleansing prepare your skin with toner. Open the pouch, pull out the mask, and place on your face. (2) Remove the sheet 20 minutes later. (3) Pat leftover essence for full absorption.

Caution:For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If adverse reaction develops, stop use and contact your physician. This product is not for babies.

MY EXPERIENCE

The pack contains 25g of essence and it was just enough to coat the sheet mask without being drippy. The scent is lemony - a treat for me because I adore citrusy fragrances!

The sheet mask was longer in the forehead to accommodate the fox's ear design. While cute, it was inconvenient because it made my hair wet. Overall, the fit was okay but could be improved.

The sheet mask is thick and not very clingy. Aside from that, it formed tents as soon as I wore it. However, it was able to stick to my face for more than 40 minutes. After removing the sheet mask, I patted in the extra essence. It was slippy but did not feel that tacky.

Results?

After my skin absorbed all the extra, I can immediately see a difference! I can visibly see that my face brightened a lot and my pores look a lot smaller!

However, there's not much difference when it comes to moisture. I did my normal skincare routine before sheetmasking (except using a moisturizer because it comes after this step) and my skin was already nicely hydrated at 50.7% (note: optimal moisture value is at 60%). If I was not keeping up with my Korean routine, I think the moisture increase will be more substantial.

Overall, this is an okay mask for me. I enjoyed using it but will probably not repurchase.

It is an antioxidant that exfoliates your skin and reduces the appearance of cellulites as it moisturizes!

Coffee scrubs are great for exfoliation so I'm not surprised this product left my skin feeling soft and moisturized after use! As a coffee lover, the scent is heavenly! There's a hint of sweetness in the aroma unlike most coffee scrubs that smell quite strong. However, one thing that keeps me from loving coffee scrubs to the fullest is the fact that they can get messy. This scrub is not an exception. The coffee grounds are a bit too coarse and it's difficult to clean up after. If you don't mind the mess, I think this is worth trying out! Ladouce Tampon Sample Pack

Ladouce Tampons are a revolutionary sanitary product designed to be worn inside the body.

Products for menstruation are still limited so I'm glad women have more options when it comes to shark week. Maskuerade Bentonite Clay Mask

I wanted to try Bentonite Clay and wow magic! Giltbox sent me a sample from Maskuerade. Haha. Haven't used this yet but I'll try to update as soon as possible. Can't find an official page or official price for Maskuerade. Let me know if you have more information about them!

Artistry Hydra-V Fresh Foaming Cleanser Sample

"Artistry™ Hydra-V Fresh Foaming Cleanser is a gentle foaming gel cleanser that effectively removes excess
oil, makeup and environmental debris, leaving behind only comfortable, refreshed, healthy-looking skin."

Haven't tried this brand yet so I'm pleased to get this! The 125-ml full-sized product is worth 1,520 Php from Amway's official website. For that price, this product better be good!

What's Inside

The last item inside my first Giltbox is a sample card from Miyu. The card contains sample sachets of Miyu Free Me Up which is a whitening cleanser, Miyu Pore Me Down which is a whitening toner and Miyu Easy Peasy Baby which is a whitening moisturizer.

Pearl & Butter's Whitening soap is chock-full of whitening ingredients like kojic, glutathione, licorice, arbutin and vitamin C! I think this has lots of potential but the sample size is too small for me to make a full judgment. I do love the scent it has - reminds me of something floral and citrusy. The full-sized product is only 70 Php at Giltbox PH or you can also get it through Pearl & Butter's Facebook or Instagram.

Pearl & Butter Eyelash Serum

Flaunt your lashes! This gem isn't your ordinary castor oil formula.
It's a combination of special ingredients that will make your lashes stronger, fuller and thicker!

Most eyelash serums are made of castor oil which does wonders for hair growth. Pearl & Butter claims their blend also contains other special ingredients such as aloe vera extract, jojoba oil, almond oil, vitamin E! Interesting. Let me know if you want me to review this one! What if I shave my eyebrows? Hahaha! The Eyelash serum is available in 5ml, 10ml and 12 ml sizes. Get it via Giltbox PH or through Pearl & Butter's Facebook or Instagram.

VERDICT

It's hard to check the prices of the items inside so I can't say for sure if the cost is worth it or not. However, I’m happy with what Giltbox sent me! The boxes are filled with essential items I will certainly use plus most of the brands are new to me!

Hi, guys!

Whenever I do lip tint reviews, I always mention how my lips have dark, pigment edges. Because of that, a reader suggested I try this Thai product called "Sexy Collagen Pink Gel". 😆

I got mine from an online Shopee seller for only 130Php (see listings here). Here's my review after using it continuously for a month!

About the Product

Comes in a blister card packaging. Product info is written in Thai.
The card has Manufacturing and Expiry Dates written on it.

Sexy Collagen Pink Gel is a product that claims to improve the lips by making them soft, naturally pink and plump! The product exfoliates the lips to reveal a lighter tone plus it contains collagen for lip plumping.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Propylene Glycol, DMDM Hydantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, CI 15850, Tocopherol, Niacinamide, Collagen, Alpha Arbutin

Directions: 
Apply a very small amount (approx the size of a sesame seed) to get soft lips with a natural pink color. To exfoliate and improve tone, it should be used daily for best results.

Notable ingredients include Allantoin for its soothing, healing and keratolytic properties, Aloe Vera for its moisturizing powers, Niacinamide and Arbutin for whitening and of course, Collagen for skin plumping. DMDM Hydantoin is a potential high-risk irritant while Tocopherol (Vitamin E) pose a lower risk. Here's the Cosdna Analysis of the ingredients. As always, don't use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients!

The product.

The gel is housed in a clear and airless pump tube the size of a regular lipstick - very convenient if you wanna bring it along with you. It is made of plastic and seems sturdy enough. I dropped it a couple of times and it was still intact and looks undamaged.

My Experience

Unlike most gels, the consistency is thick and won't get watery once you start to spread it around. The gel is clear but will begin to develop a pinkish tinge after application. While not that heavy, it feels greasy on the lips like a lipbalm.

That lip-plumping action though! After 3-5 minutes, my lips noticeably has less fine lines. Combined with the pink tint, I can confidently say my lips look healthier!

The product has potential but it has its cons too. I noticed my lips would look paler as the night goes on. I chalk it up to the product's whitening abilities. Another thing I noticed is that the gel sits on top of the lips and will not absorb well. It transfers a lot and in the morning, my lips would look like this:

My lips would get very dry and I'm sure the gel is the cause since it happens every time I use it. If you want to get the plump-looking lips above, you have to continuously re-apply the gel.

The main reason why I got this is to lighten the dark edges of my lips. So did it work? See below.

One month apart.
Yes, I suck at taking before and afters 😂

The lighting has changed (sorry!) but I can definitely that say my lips have lightened a little bit. The dark edges have faded to a lighter brown in a span of one month.

VERDICT

The Sexy Collagen Pink Gel gets a pass from me. It really helped in fading the dark color of my lips. I will keep on using this to see more results.

Just keep in mind the cons I mentioned above. My lips look plump and healthy after application but the effects are temporary. I won't recommend using it as a lip gloss.

Hi, guys! Last December, I availed Sample Room's latest offerings from Gluta-C. The brand introduced two new products to their Kojic Plus line - the Shower Salt Scrub and the Acne Control Toner. According to them, their Kojic Plus line will effectively deliver 4x skin whitening action using the combined powers of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, and Azelaoyl Diglycinate.

I haven't used the toner yet but I have already emptied my Shower Salt Scrub. Here's my thoughts about it!

Aside from the 4 whitening ingredients mentioned, the scrub also contains other well-known whitening ingredients like arbutin and niacinamide. It also has exfoliators like Papain and Glycolic Acid to help remove dead skin cells for a healthy, glowing skin. There are also moisturizers like glycerin, betaine and butylene glycol to help reduce dryness. Here's the Cosdna analysis of the ingredients. They say the scrub is suitable for all skin types but as always, patch test first and don't use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients.

MY EXPERIENCE

This sat in my closet for a while and when I finally opened the container, I can see that the liquid has separated from the salt. The formulation needs to be improved because the salt would settle at the bottom after a short while. After one week, I have to mix it again before I can use it.

The tub has a wide mouth so you can dip your fingers (even your whole hand if you want) but I prefer using a spoon to keep it sanitary.

After mixing, the scrub has a runny consistency. It is super easy to spread plus the salt in the scrub doesn't melt easily. I was able to soak my skin and exfoliate to my heart's content. The scent is really lovely - it smells strongly of citrus and I really, totally dig it! It is calming and relaxing for me. The fragrance is quite strong so this may not be for you if you have a sensitive nose.

The product is described as cooling but I was not so sure about that during the first few times I've used it. It would initially feel hot after application. After about 5 minutes, the hotness would be replaced by a cooling sensation. I'm guessing it's because of the menthol? If you wanna experience the cooling sensation, make sure to leave this on your skin for 5+ minutes!

RESULTS

The tub lasted me 2 months. I haven't observed whitening effects but I guess that's understandable since I only use it once a week. If you want to take advantage of its whitening powers, you definitely need to use it 2-3 times a week.

I still think this is a great exfoliating scrub. My skin always get so soft and smooth after rinsing it off! Overall, the exfoliating and moisturizing effects are enough for me to buy this again. The 250g tub is only P164.75 (fair price if you ask me) and it is available at all leading drugstores nationwide.
