Hi, everyone! Feels like such a long time since I last wrote here. I got buried with work. Anyway, got another sheet mask review for all of you! Here's my thoughts about B&Soap's My Secret Glacial Water Mask!

According to Althea's description, this is a mild and calming mask that contains Alaskan Glacial water to soothe and hydrate deeply. What makes it different from regular water is that it contains 6 natural minerals (they did not indicate what).

Other highlighted ingredients include: Hydrolyzed Collagen to revitalize and condition skin, Witch Hazel Extract for pore tightening, Aloe Vera Gel extract for skin calming and Betaine for deep moisturization. Here's the full ingredients list:

My Experience

The essence is clear and thick in texture. It reminds me of aloe vera gels except it won't get watery. It has a perfume-y scent. It's generic tbh; it doesn't smell like lavender, aloe, cucumber or anything that I would associate with the ingredients. Good thing it's not overpowering and it disappears once you put the mask on your face.

There's only 20g inside but the sheet mask was fully saturated. I thought it would dry out fast but it was still moist and clinging tightly after 30 minutes. I removed it shortly because I wanna sleep already. 😂

The sheet mask material is thin and finely woven. It's not as pliant as I want it to be but that's okay because again, the adherence is good! Recommended wearing time is 10-20 minutes but I think you can even stretch it up to 40 minutes if you want!

Results?

This took around 5 minutes to get fully absorbed. Finish is dewy and there's a tacky film left but my face felt soft and moisturized. My skin was plumper and my pores looked smaller from the hydration. The next morning, I can still feel the smoothness of my skin.

VERDICT

Not sure about the calming effects but it gave me pore tightening and moisturization. Overall, I like this mask. I'm not in a hurry to restock but I would definitely repurchase!
